The thing about the wiki is that you have use it to appreciate it. The more you use it and familiarize yourself with it, the more it can serve you. The wiki can be a frightening place if you never go there. It took me a month or two to figure out where the pubserv schedule was on the wiki. There was a point in time when no one knew where it was.
Were you worried that no one was clicking on your tiny url link, or do you just really like teapots?
ReplyDeleteAlso, because of the location of the handle, it being on the top of the teapot as opposed to the side opposite the spout, wouldn't pouring from that be awkward? You'd probably be prone to scalding yourself, especially if there wasn't a lot of water in it and you had to tip the pot at a steep angle.
That is an interesting point, Jordan. I think that most tea kettles have handles that are on the top rather than the side--I think it has to do with the weight of a tea kettle as opposed to the delecacy of a classic tea pot.
ReplyDeleteI just liked this purple tea kettle--that is why I used it twice in a row. Thank you for asking.
This is so much nicer though:

It is nice, but it is a tea pot, not a tea kettle--that is why it's handle is like that.
